Beethoven was born in Bonn in 1770 and was the second child of�
his family.� Beethoven's first public performance playing the piano
started when he was 8 years old, and he was talented as he started learning
to play the piano, organ and violin at an early age.���
Beethoven's mother died when he was just 17.
In 1790 Beethoven left home to study composition in Vienna, where he
took lessons form Haydn� and later on continued from Albrechtsberger,
Schenck and Salieri.� Only when he turned 25 was he noticed as a pianist
and was very well accepted by the common folk and the aristocracy of Vienna.�
He was also provided annuity which allow him to dedicate his time to composing
without financial worries.
Some time in the year 1798 Beethoven realise that he was suffering
from a hearing disorder.� This left him into depression, and he had
to communicate with his friends using a notebook.� Because of his
hearing disorder, he was more determined to produce music.� He was
completely deaf by 1820 and he shut himself away.� Beethoven died
on� March 26, 1827.
